After nearly a 3 year hiatus online. The site has been featured on numerous CSS galleries, it's been plagiarised and it's been in print in magazines & books while it still occasionally gets featured on a CSS gallery or blog post I have decided it was time to move on and redesign the website to reflect more on the direction of what I do and specialise in by creating a stronger online presence.

It probably happens more than people think and published about online. It's something that is in the back for your mind if you're a freelancer...no it's not winning a D&AD yellow pencil. It's the fear of your site being ripped off completely and not knowing what to do about it.
Lets make it clear, I'm not talking about subtle differences and taking design inspiration from a site. I'm talking about blatant site rip offs...Posted on Thursday April 29, 2010

I have always flirted with the idea of working abroad, wondering what it would be like as a freelancer. Is it as glamorous as it makes out to be?
When you think about freelancing abroad you're probably thinking of sitting somewhere that overlooks a beautiful picturesque view, favourite tipple in one hand and a laptop in the other. As freelancers we have the freedom of working anywhere in the world, our office is just really a laptop and internet connection.
As some of you may know, I was recently given an opportunity to contract abroad, Dusseldorf in Germany to be exact. Granted, not as glamorous location as it could be, nor is it the first place you think for a holiday or city break. I worked for Sapient contracted on-site at Vodafone on the Vodafone 360 project. You may have seen the above-the-line adverts in the UK promoting the Vodafone 360 handsets and services.
